Who are we

The Meadows Early Learning Centre is a locally owned and operated childcare centre minutes away from Hamilton and Cambridge nestled in the beautiful community of Matangi/Tamahere.

Our way of life at the Meadows is informed by care and compassion, backed up by the knowledge that comes from an extensive background in early childhood education. The Meadows Early Learning Centre was the dream of a passionate early childhood educator who has had the honour of working in a varied range of early childhood provisions, including teaching, managing, facilitating & curriculum building. The Meadows team draws on a tradition of richly varied early childhood expertise.

Underpinning all we do at the Meadows is respect/manaakitanga. It influences everything, from how we interact together, to our resources and environment. It all comes down to this, really: we believe that the connections we form within our local community are crucial in developing both a sense of belonging and an open-eyed awareness of the world around us.

As we live out our passion for giving every child a chance to develop with confidence and resilience, we hope that our teachers will come to feel like part of your family/whānau.
